Applying for a PEFC chain of custody certificate 

The PEFC chain of custody certificate can be applied for by any body harvesting, transporting, handling or processing forest based products at any stage from a forest to a final consumer.

The chain of custody certificate is granted subject to passing a verification audit by the certifying body which checks that the applicant's management system fulfils the requirements of the standard.

Chain of custody certification will cost the applicant.
